PR & DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

PUBLIC RELATIONS

  • Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email;
  • Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media;
  • Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients;
  • Working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
  • Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted 
media;
  • Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as ‘selling 
in’;
  • Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage;
  • Event management, including press conferences and promotional 
events; attending and promoting client events to the media;
  • Assisting with the production of client publications, such as in-house
  • magazines; - Commissioning market research; coordinating studio or
    location photography;

  • Undertake research for new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients.
  • Managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation.

  • Responsible for the administration of the social media activity for our clients:
  • Day to day management of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and overseeing respective blogs
  • Working with teams across the practice to plan, create, execute and monitor social 
media campaigns across all the agency’s client list
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to implement, monitor and 
improve social media strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities to exploit and expand social media presence
  • Make significant contribution to social media brand campaigns.
  • Implementing ongoing email marketing campaigns:
  • Working with teams across the agency to plan, create, execute and monitor email 
campaigns
  • Working with the Digital Marketing and Insight Manager to implement, monitor and 
improve our email marketing strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities to exploit and expand clients’ social media presence.
  • Implementing SEO campaigns
  • Working with teams and external agencies where appropriate to implement the SEO strategy
  • Working with the editorial team to advise on optimising copy for search and implementing internal linking strategy
  • Identifying link building opportunities where appropriate and other avenues to improve Clients’ SEO.
  • General duties

  • Attending and reporting at team meetings
  • To provide cover for the Marketing Manager when required.
  • To pick up editorial and project management duties during peak operational periods.
