Singapore, 21st October 2014 – GIUDI, an Italian leather goods brand, celebrated its official opening of the first GIUDI store in Asia on 16 October 2014. Held at its newly designed space in Mandarin Gallery, guests were treated to a fashion presentation hosted by MTV VJ Hanli Hoefer and a spread of delicious Italian inspired canapés and free flow Prosecco. The event was graced by Mr Eros Pennacchioni, 29-year-old CEO of GIUDI who had flown in from Italy.

“I am proud to open the first flagship store in Singapore. We have designs unique to Asia and every piece is handcrafted with love. Our products are made in Italy with only the finest leather,” said Mr Eros in his opening speech.
GIUDI aims to be an affordable luxury brand that defines both style and quality of Italian craftsmanship. The company takes pride in ensuring that all leather used is tanned with natural, eco-friendly essences called Vacchetta, by an Italian Tannery located in Tuscany. All products are certified as genuine Italian leather by the “Vera Pelle Italiana” consortium.
Marrying contemporary design with century-old leather craftsmanship, GIUDI produces timeless pieces that are both elegant and fashionable. Client satisfaction is always a priority.
“I travel the world to participate in fairs, meet customers around the world and gain competitive insight. Being the second generation of this family business, I [popbring innovation and quality to our valued customers,” said Mr Eros.
Ms Hoefer also had much praise for the event, “It was an honour being part of GIUDI’s launch in Singapore. Learning about the brand’s rich family history and its passion for traditional leather craftsmenship was incredibly insightful and I’m looking forward to their future designs.”
GIUDI is represented by mono and multi brand fashion accessories stores across major cities in Europe. The brand has its roots from founding cousins Mario and Adriano Pennacchioni in Morrovalle, Central Italy. On a night in 1973, the pair made a decision that fulfilled their aspirations to start a company to create custom-made leather goods. In 1974, GIUDI was born.
