We see the elegance of silk and viscose dresses purposely paired with dark blazers, second skin leather, nail embellished coats and metallic graphic details. Masculine shapes and cuts layered over classic feminine looks are central to Zadig’s vision of modern femininity. Military jackets are paired with casual sequin skirts to reflect the feminine Belle de Jour spirit. A luxurious white fur coat hangs effortlessly over an officer-‐styled shirt. A black tunic with a criss-‐cross neck is tucked underneath a boyish black and blue baseball jacket. The ricochet between femininity and masculinity stays true to Zadig and Voltaire’s image of the true woman whose femininity will transcend any form of clothing. With the coming of Fall/Winter, the Zadig woman is covered up in this season’s luxurious wool tuxedo and trench coats that are teased with fierce androgyny.Yet she retains her playful feminine spirit as you can see the Zadig girl reveling in a sheer languid silk camisole that slithers playfully under a long oversized cashmere cardigan. Fall Winter 2012/2013 Accessories To compliment the cool, laidback vibe of the clothes for this season, Zadig and Voltaire have created bags in black suedes and fine leather finish that go easily from the office to a party. Keeping up with the image of punk-‐rock chic, these bags are imprinted with Zadig’s signature skull logos, embellished with silver studs and lined with exposed zippers. Featured in this collection are the bold, statement boots. These boots manage to balance grunge and sophistication –black leather boots with studded straps and suede boots with python-‐skin lining.
