Public Relations Executive, Singapore

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • To manage PR campaigns under the direction of an Account Director.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of public relations initiatives & campaigns.
  • Liaise with Singapore and international media in relations to placement of features and editorials on behalf of agency clients. Respond to requests for information from the media and from other sources. Establish and maintain positive relationships with media and other groups of importance to agency clients.
  • Plan research and write feature articles and press releases.
  • Manage event-planning activities (e.g. product launches etc).
  • Have a strong understanding of Social Media and the role it plays in public relations and communications campaigns. To also have an understanding of basic film and film production.

Account Executive

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Analysing the customer needs and helping design compelling PR and Marketing solutions.
  • Under the direction of an Account Manager and in close collaboration with our servicing team and partner companies, help drive the realisation of the projects to deliver the campaign according to communication objectives.
  • Contributing to new PR pitches: assist in the preparation of proposals, and progressively help identify the new opportunities.
  • Supporting out clients through campaign development, performance measurement of our campaigns, seeking marketing opportunities with external tie-ups.
  • Marketing acumen and keen analytical skills to translate client requirements in business recommendations.
  • Proactive and meticulous follow-up of project tasks and client requests.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

  • Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email;
  • Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media;
  • Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients;
  • Working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
  • Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted 
media;
  • Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as ‘selling 
in’;
  • Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage;
  • Event management, including press conferences and promotional 
events; attending and promoting client events to the media;

    PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP

    Publicist PR is on the hunt for a talented, diligent and creative PR assistant with a good nose for nose for news. 

    Our interns are forewarned that PR in a boutique agency setting is a demanding job with low tolerance for complacency. During our paid internship program, which usually lasts three to six months, interns will be provided with two weeks of intensive training on the basics of PR. Those with strong competency in creative writing and media pitching will be assigned to assist in media engagement while those with outstanding communication skills and planning abilities will get to shadow a senior consultant for client meetings and assist in PR planning. Bonus performance will be awarded to consultants who are able achieve outstanding results.     Job Description

    The role of Junior Public Relations Associate is to help create a positive image of your portfolio of cilents through the use of various communication tools directed to external audiences.

    Teamwork is key to the success of our agency. While the incumbent’s primary responsibility is for work relating to media/public relations, this person will assist the Senior PR Consultant with duties as workload dictates.

    The ideal candidate will service our clients to ensure they receive top-notch marketing & communications strategy, fantastic creative that is consistent with overall brand image and exceptional customer service.
